April 2015 – Tim Hills: The yew grows south of the church. It is as bushy now as it was in 1868, although its height has been reduced. Although girthing only 8′ 7” at about 1′ the tree is likely to have an age of 200/250 years – assuming an age of between 50 and 100 years at the time of the 1868 photograph.
