Notes:

Tim Hills: A female yew with fine sculptured white wood features including a prominent section whose eventual decay will leave an arch and make it possible to pass through the centre of the tree. Girth was 15′ 10” (483cm) at 1′ in 2000 and 16′ 2” (493cm) at 1′ in 2010. It is tree 1 on the plan.
Paul Wood 2016: The yew was measured at 1′ and a girth of 16′ 3” (495cm) was recorded. The only noticeable difference since 2014 was the rapid encroachment of ivy on the north side of the tree.
