Tree ID: 1055
Yews recorded: Ancient 5m-7m
Tree girth: 671cm
Girth height: at the ground
Tree sex: female
Date of visit: 10-Apr-02
Source of earliest mention: 1936: The King's England - Arthur Mee
Notes:April 2002 – Tim Hills: Tree D on the churchyard plan grows east of the church. It is the most enigmatic of the five, for what remains is a hollow shell with a portion of stump of another hollow tree next to it. It is possible that these were two fragment yews – remains of a long vanished larger tree. Girth including the stump was about 22′ (671cm).
In 2013 dense undergrowth surrounded the tree.
