Notes:Tree 2 on the plan, NW of the church. A tall straight bole of particularly fine appearance which has outgrown the surrounding wall. It has a large complex internal stem fused from several smaller ones in a large hollow space.
In 1998 I recorded a girth of about 22′ (671cm) at 5′.
2021: This was a difficult height to repeat the measurement with accuracy, but an attempt was made and a girth of 22′ 1½” (673cm) was recorded at this height. A more reliable girth was 23′ 8” (722cm) between the ground and 1′.
