Notes:

November 2005 – Tim Hills: Yew 3 on the plan. A large central core with some branches growing from the edge of this. Many thick branches on a tree of solid appearance. Girth of 21′ 6” (655cm) at 6”.
2010 – Peter Andrews: Large female yew. Girth at base 23′ 0” (701cm). Trunk showed signs of burn marks, because of its solid nature the fire did not take hold. A big, fine, spreading tree.
July 2014 – Peter Norton: The female yew grows about ten feet from the road. It had no obvious signs of hollowing and a bole of about 5′ from which nine stems emerge. Girth was recorded as 22′ 2” (676cm) at 4” approx. (root crown). NGR: SU0745914254.
