Notes:

Tim Hills: This yew is only about 40m from the first. There are numerous burrows around this tree, as well as evidence of browsing. The holes at its base suggest that there are large hollow spaces within its solid looking bole. Girth was 22′ 10” (696cm) at about 1′ above the ground all around the tree, avoiding bulges. The tree was also measured at at the height a nail had been hammered in – between 2′ 3” and 2′ 6”; here girth was 21′ 6” (655cm). There was much upright twiggy growth above a height of 3’/4′. Foliage was thin. National Trust number 01776. Approximate grid reference is SO44036593.
