Notes:

Tim Hills: The yew was measured close to the ground, avoiding root bulging. Girth wes 22′ 10” (696cm). At a height of about 3′ are several embedded nails; here a girth of 17′ 9” (541cm) was recorded. A gash on one side was filled with decaying heartwood. The tree is many branched above about 10′. Foliage was generally thin and there were several dead branches. It has previously been recorded at grid reference SO44066591 by the Ancient Tree Hunt, and numbered 80737. For the National Trust records it is numbered 01905.
