2003 Tim Hills: Tree 4, male, grows above a large badger sett. It is completely hollowed out, but nonetheless gives the impression of great strength. There is plentiful healthy green foliage on this tree, which girths about 16′ (488cm) .
2025 Ancient Tree Inventory: Raised ground level by badger activity, though sett now inactive and badgers have moved to a new site further down the slope.
