Notes:

1999 – Tim Hills: Tree 2 on plan, SW of the church, a hollow shell which expands as it gains height. 15′ 5” (470cm) at 3′ was recorded.
March 2012 – Tim Hills: A girth of 15′ 9” (480cm) was recorded, keeping the tape 3′ above the sloping ground. It was also measured keeping a horizontal tape 3′ above the highest ground, where 15′ 6” (472cm) was recorded.
2016 – Paul Wood: Tree 2 is probably the best kept of the yews. A small area on the NE side of the tree had a thin covering of ivy and a small amount of rubbish shared the hollow space with a rotting internal stem hanging down. The tree had a clean and distinctly yellow surfaced bole. Girth was recorded as 15′ 6” (472cm) at 3′, as in 2012. Foliage was sparse.
