Notes:

1999 – Tim Hills: Tree 3 on plan. A leaning tree which has been larger. In spite of its scrappy appearance there is healthy growth on all parts of the tree. Removal of ivy would help. Girth was only 11′ 6” (351cm) at the ground, but the tree swells considerably.
2016 – Paul Wood: It is incredible that tree 3 is still standing. There was a large pile of rubbish against it and on its east side some stubborn roots of an invasive plant. There was also a pile of broken glass and smashed grave ornaments. Ivy climbing high into its canopy may soon become a problem. In spite of all this the yew appeared to be growing well.
