Notes: 3 old female yews grow here, with girths between 12' and 16'. The largest has suffered fire damage, yet in 2000 drying grasses were still being stored in and around the trees. Two grow on the north side, seen here, the third to the south. According to CPAT 'An early medieval origin is likely, based on the church's location, recent archaeological work on the churchyard, and the unique dedication to St Gastyn'. The church alignment is SW/NE.
